Born the 5th of December, 1713, in Copenhagen; died the 23rd of September, 1792, at Holt near Tvedestrand. Theological examination, 1736; incumbent at Hommedal, 1740; rural dean of Nedenes, 1756. Married Riborg Christine Tybring on the 11th of September, 1742. He received a commemorative address on the fiftieth anniversary of his ordination on the 26th of August, 1790 — the last incumbent of Holt to be buried inside the church, a distinction he presumably did not fully savour at the time.
