Major; born in Trondheim on the 16th of May, 1728; died suddenly on the 6th of March, 1784, at Huseby in Oxendalen. His military career proceeded from second lieutenant in 1747 to major in 1776. He married Cornelia Susanne Klingenberg on the 23rd of March, 1762. The winter of his death was known locally as 'the Dons winter' — which, whilst not the most glorious of memorial epithets, is at least a distinction of a kind.
