Christian Andersen Holm, born the 6th of January, 1801, at Holme farm in Fåberg, and his wife Andrine Enge, born the 1st of June, 1812, in Follebu, moved to Skogn in 1842 to practise the tinsmith's trade. Christian settled as a crofter at Jørås, known as Jøråshaugen; his wife Andrine sold their wares in Trondheim. Both died at Jøråshaugen — Andrine on the 11th of December, 1866, and Christian on the 13th of June, 1867.
